More than 100 members of the dnata Travel Group’s UK leadership team came together last week for their first in-person event under Ailsa Pollard’s leadership as chief executive to discuss the group’s "ambitious" two-year strategy.
Hosted in Bedfordshire on 19-20 May, the delegates included the group’s senior management teams, which trade under the Travel Republic, Gold Medal, Netflights, Sunmaster and Travelbag brands.
During the event, Pollard thanked the team for their "significant efforts" during the pandemic and, together with the managing directors from each of the businesses’ core brands, shared the company’s "ambitious strategic plans" for the next two years.
"After the challenges of the last two years, we felt it was perfect timing to get the team together to celebrate our successes and discuss our ambitious plans for the next two years," Pollard said.
"All of our operating businesses are making a strong recovery on the back of improved trading conditions. Given the current economic outlook there are sure to be some challenges ahead of us, but we are feeling optimistic about the future."
