Long-haul specialist First Class Holidays has added Japan to its portfolio, releasing a 100-page online brochure.
The programme features 30 hotels plus eight escorted tours, 10 independent tours, eight short-stay packages, cruising and rail options.
Keir Ashley, product manager, said: “We have worked very closely with the DMCs and suppliers in Japan and along with the first-hand knowledge of our own travel experts, we’re confident to showcase all the handpicked tours, hotels and excursions that your clients are going to love.”
Yumiko Wood, the operator’s lead Japan Travel Expert, added: “With so much to see and do in Japan, and various ways to travel, it can be daunting to know where to start if you have never visited before.
“With Japan being my native country and having lived there for over 30 years, I can provide the knowledge and tips to make sure your clients have a wonderful time, along with the rest of our Japan travel experts, who have all travelled extensively around the country.”
The operator is hosting a Japan launch event at its Manchester office on 10 September from 2-4pm. Agents should email sales@fcholidays.com to reserve a place.
Meanwhile, First Class has struck a partnership with Sports Tours International aimed at competitors in overseas marathons who wish to extend their stay. Packages include the Tokyo 2025 Marathon.
Daniel Gathercole, First Class managing director, said: “We can personalise the trip to the clients’ requirements, whether they want a stopover or to twin with another destination or if they are a keen runner, to go on to compete in another marathon in another destination.”
