Fred Olsen has launched a new paid-for service designed to ease the current pre-travel testing and paperwork burden for clients.
Travel Ready will see the line take care of all permitted paperwork on clients’ behalf; this could include passenger locator forms and NHS vaccination letters. The line will also order guests any tests they require for travel.
Guests can add the service, which leads in from £49pp, to their booking three weeks out from their departure at the earliest, allowing the line to act on the most up-to-date travel rules for each destination.
Clare Ward, Fred Olsen director of product and customer service, said: "We know there continues to be change when it comes to travel, and we don’t want that to be a barrier to exploring the world again."
Ward continued: "We want our guests to look forward to their cruise from the moment they make their booking. With our Travel Ready Service they can feel reassured that, should any requirements change in the days leading up to, during or after their cruise, we will have it covered.
"Guests can let us know in the three weeks before they sail if they wish to add this to their booking, so we can make sure the guidance is as up-to-date as possible. Knowing they can add this package before they sail allows them to book with confidence and look forward to their holiday with peace of mind."
Fred Olsen is also offering "risk-free" deposits on all new bookings for sailings departing in 2022. This means guests can move their deposit to any other cruise within 12 months of their original sailing with no transfer fees, so long as they let Fred Olsen know before the final balance has been paid.
