Hays Travel Independence Group is to host a UK-based conference next month.
The consortium’s members, head office team and supplier partners will gather at the Forest of Arden Marriott Hotel & Country Club near Birmingham on 3-4 October for two days of business sessions, a trade exhibition and gala dinner.
The UK event, which will focus on “people, productivity, performance and potential”, follows Hays IG’s overseas conference in March at the Hard Rock Hotel in Tenerife.
Hays Travel boss Irene Hays said: “The timing is perfect for us all to regroup and be focused and ready for turn of year. It’s a great opportunity to share industry perspectives, our own Hays Travel business data and share our ambitions and plans for 2023.
“The focus is very relevant for where we are at the moment with our recent successes around people and productivity. There are new innovations to share and discuss, not least the potential for growth and diversification that 2023 will bring.”
Natasha Marson, head of Hays IG, added: “It’s a great opportunity for our members, especially the new ones, and those supplier partners who didn’t get the chance to join us overseas, to network and immerse themselves in the presentations and activity to support the future growth of their business.
“The team at head office and I are busy finalising the plans to make this year’s UK conference the strongest yet. After another challenging year we all look forward to a conference to draw closure to the current year, celebrate some achievements along the way and start planning for turn of year.”
