Holidaysplease has unveiled a new online hub for its homeworking agents, offering information on airlines, cruise companies and global hotels.
The brand announced plans to launch the new system during its 2022 conference in Daventry on Friday (14 October) – its first since 2019.
It will feature 69 destination modules, copyright-free shareable images, information on global weather forecasts, Foreign Office guidance and Google Maps links.
The agency will transfer other booking tools from its current CMC system to the new online hub, in a bid to "bring the booking process into one, easy-to-use place".
It will also offer information on the aviation industry, such as airport modules, airline routes and virtual aircraft tours.
Shareable YouTube videos will be available to help agents engage clients online, as well as promo codes, supplier incentives, supplier booking guides and additional information on admin and financial protection.
Induction for new members will also be a feature, with induction manuals and tour operator policy updates. Phase two will see the addition of modules about Elegant Escapes – the agency’s in-house operator – social media training and online support.
Charles Duncombe, co-founder and director of Holidaysplease, said: "The amount of work that has gone into the new online system so far is really exciting, and we can’t wait to launch it to you. It will go online any moment now."
He also outlined the agency’s plans to increase its technology elsewhere – including ways to allow the company’s homeworkers to present information to their clients in a more "succinct way".
Opening the conference, co-founder and director Richard Dixon hailed members’ resilience during the past two years, detailing how business has grown by 30% since 2019.
