British Airways has added Riga and Belgrade to its route network from London, bringing its short-haul portfolio from the capital to 120 destinations.
A three-times weekly service from Heathrow to the Latvian capital of Riga will launch on 29 October 2023, with flights operating on a mix of A320 and A321 aircraft with return fares available from £73pp.
Meanwhile, a three-times weekly service from BA’s London hub to the Serbian capital of Belgrade will be available from 31 October 2023, with return fares starting from £105pp.
BA will also introduce a 12-times weekly service from Heathrow on 30 October 2023 to Cologne, with return fares coming in at £92pp.
BA Cityflyer, British Airways’ subsidiary based at London City airport, will also launch a weekly service to Milan to complement the existing flights from Heathrow. Prices start from £112pp.
Weekly winter flights from Heathrow to Turin will also become available on Sundays from 10 December 2023 in addition to the current daily service from Gatwick with BA Euroflyer.
Elsewhere, BA Cityflyer’s route to San Sebastian has been extended into the winter season, offering direct flights on Thursdays and Sundays to the Basque Country.
The airline has also confirmed it will continue Heathrow operations into the winter for Ljubljana and Istanbul’s Sabiha Gokcen airport will become a year-round destination, offering a four-times weekly service.
