Cheshire-based Inspire Europe hosted its first-ever conference for its team of homeworking agents last week.
The one-day event, titled Power Your Performance, took place at Birmingham airport with presentations from Lisa Henning, Inspire Europe’s managing director, and members of her management team as well as product and training by Classic Collection.
Henning said the conference was a "real opportunity" for Inspire’s agents to "understand the size and shape" of the business, be updated on the company’s financial and business performance, and share the firm’s investment plans for its homeworking business in 2023.
"We have been building our team of homeworkers for the past 18 months and wanted to bring them together for a business update, as well as spend some quality time together preparing for peaks," she added.
"We feel it’s vital this year that the team are using this time in the build-up to January as wisely as possible in preparation for what we hope will be a busy time."
Henning said due to the rising cost of living, the group has agreed to pay all members their commission payments ahead of Christmas to help them over the period, and that each agent will be allocated a bespoke personal marketing budget.
"The conference was a great opportunity to announce that we are making upfront commission payments ahead of Christmas to help with cash flow, which was really well received," she added.
"Not only that, but also a bespoke marketing budget for each of the homeworkers to help them bolster their marketing activities during January and February."
