Intrepid MD and Advantage chief to speak at Women in Travel forum
Will PayneSocial enterprise Women in Travel has revealed details of its 2023 International Women in Travel and Tourism Forum (IWTTF).
Speakers confirmed to attend include Intrepid Travel managing director Zina Bencheikh, Advantage Travel Partnership chief executive Julia Lo Bue-Said and Attraction World chief executive Olly Nichols.
Now into its fourth year, IWTTF 2023 has expanded its capacity following last year’s event and will be held in Google’s offices in King’s Cross, London, on 22 June 2023.
For the first time, the forum will be preceded by the inaugural IWTTF Awards, hosted by Expedia in their offices in Angel on Thursday 21 June.
Subjects covered in the programme – through a combination of panels, speaker sessions, mentoring and fireside chats – include:
- How the climate crisis is impacting women in travel and tourism and why everyone should be concerned
- How to harness DEI and technology to foster entrepreneurial innovation
- On a journey to inclusion – belonging in travel and tourism
- Neurodiversity: talent’s final frontier
- Allyship – including launching the findings of its first ever report into allyship in the travel and tourism industry.
Tickets will be available for the awards or the forum only, or as a combined ticket for both and as customary for the social enterprise any profits will be reinvested in Women in Travel’s social impact mission.
Women in Travel founder and managing director Alessandra Alonso said: "We are delighted to share a first glimpse of the IWTTF 2023 programme and excited to be welcoming some incredibly talented original thinkers and leaders who we can learn from, and with whom we can discuss some of the most important industry topics of the day."
