Ireland has dropped all Covid-19 travel restrictions for arrivals, regardless of vaccination, seeking entry to the country.
The relaxation of rules came into force on Sunday (6 March) and included the removal of Passenger Locator Forms (PLF).
Travellers will no longer be required to show proof of vaccination, proof of recovery from Covid, or a negative PCR test on arrival.
There are also no post-arrival testing or quarantine requirements for visitors.
The Irish government advised any individual that develops Covid symptoms while in Ireland should follow the HSE guidelines in relation to isolation and take a PCR or antigen test.
Travellers transiting from overseas to Northern Ireland via Irish ports or airports still need to comply with UK travel requirements.
