The Irish Travel Agents Association (ITAA) is gearing up to welcome 150 exhibitors to its 2022 Irish travel trade shows, set to take place next week.
The first day of the event will take place in The Imperial Hotel in Cork on 6 April and the second in Hotel Riu Plaza The Gresham in Dublin on 7 April.
The sixth official trade show hosted by the ITAA is open to all licensed agents and tour operators and will feature 150 exhibitors, prize giveaways and an after-show networking event. Each exhibition is free to register for all Irish travel professionals.
Exhibitors in attendance include airlines, national and regional tourist boards, car hire and rail companies, ocean and river cruise companies, technology companies, theme and leisure parks, ferry companies, hotels and travel insurance businesses.
Visitors will also be in with the chance of winning a trip to Lapland, a place on a Saudi Arabia fam trip and return trips from Shannon airport to various European destinations. The events will be open to visitors from 5pm to 7.30pm.
Pat Dawson, chief executive of the ITAA, said the shows, which are proving to be "bigger than ever before", will be "like no other".
"The travel industry has a huge appetite to get back out and to see what the various suppliers and destinations have to offer," he continued.
"They are an invaluable opportunity for travel agents and tour operators to network with their fellow professionals and discover the latest in travel innovation, product demonstrations and new customer experiences from both Irish and international exhibitors."
