Jet2.com and Jet2holidays chief executive Steve Heapy will deliver the annual address at the annual Scottish Passenger Agents’ Association dinner next month.
The event will also hear from Dr Liz Cameron CBE, chief executive of the Scottish Chambers of Commerce, and Barrhead Travel president Jacqueline Dobson, who will address the dinner for the first time as the SPAA’s newest president, a role she took up late last year.
Qatar Airways and Loganair will sponsor the event at Glasgow’s Crowne Plaza on 22 February. "We are honoured to welcome such distinguished speakers as Steve Heapy and Dr Liz Cameron to our 94th annual dinner," said Dobson.
"In the ever-evolving landscape of the travel industry, their insights and expertise will undoubtedly provide valuable perspectives on the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead."
Dobson will also ceremonially address the haggis, with the evening also set to culminate in a performance by former World Pipe Band of the Year, the Inverary and District Pipe Band.
The SPAA, which celebrated its centenary in 2021, currently comprises 120 member companies, spanning travel agencies and homeworkers from across Scotland, as well as 92 associate members.
