Jet2holidays will restart its free resort flight check-in service in another major destination this summer.
The airline and operator last month confirmed the popular service would resume in summer 2023, starting at 50 hotels in Cyprus, after it was paused during the pandemic.
It has now expanded its return to 130 hotels throughout the Canary Islands, in Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote and Fuerteventura.
Customers heading to hotels offering the service will be able to check their bags in at their hotel on the morning of their departure so they can enjoy the final day of their holiday free of bags – and head straight to security when they arrive at the airport
Their bags are transported securely to the airport by Jet2 and stowed directly onto the aircraft.
Jet2.com and Jet2holidays chief executive Steve Heapy confirmed the service, launched in 2016, would return for summer 2023 at the 2022 Jet2holidays conference in the Algarve.
Heapy said customers and agents alike had welcomed the return of free resort flight check-in.
"We are delighted to announce we will be expanding the service to more than 130 hotels in the Canary Islands, offering even more customers the opportunity to take advantage of the many benefits of using the free service once again," Heapy added.
