Jet2CityBreaks has doubled the size of its Bergen programme for 2025, with the addition of three new departure airports.
Now on sale, the operator has added flights from Bristol, Edinburgh and London Stansted airports to the Norwegian coastal city alongside Birmingham, Leeds Bradford, Manchester and Newcastle.
A total of 31 departures will be available from 10 April 2025, in time for Easter, doubling the number of seats on sale for this year.
The capacity growth comes following Jet2CityBreaks’ decision to return to Bergen for the first time in 15 years last year and comes following popular demand from independent agents.
Flights and packages to the city are also available via Jet2holidays’ Discover More product range which offers experiential trips for the more adventurous traveller.
Bergen is in the north of the country and is a launch pad to visiting many of the country’s most famous fjords including Aurlandsfjord and Nærøyfjord.
Jet2.com and Jet2holidays chief executive Steve Heapy said: “We are just a few weeks on from launching flights and city breaks to Bergen and the fjords for the first time in over 15 years, and the response from customers and independent travel agents has been incredible.
“That response means we are more than doubling the size of our Bergen programme for 2025, including the introduction of new routes from Bristol, Edinburgh and London Stansted for the first time, meaning we will operate to Norway from seven of our UK bases next year.
“As well as giving customers a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness the spectacular fjords and breathtaking scenery of Norway, Bergen is a truly stunning and vibrant city.”
