Jet2holidays brings agent conference 'home' to Leeds

The operator will bring more than 100 independent agents to its home city for the one-day event on 25 November.

During the conference, Jet2holidays will outline plans to “further strengthen” its relationships with agent partners and attendees will hear business updates from chief executive Steve Heapy, head of trade, Alan Cross, and other members of senior management.

“With strong demand for holidays returning, the conference is designed to give independent travel agents all the tools they need to capitalise on that to drive business growth,” the operator said.

The event will also include a dinner and entertainment and overnight accommodation in Leeds will be provided.

Cross said his team had seen “a real demand” for getting back together with agents and hosting its traditional conference.

“There is of course much more to announce in the coming days and weeks, but what I can promise now is that independent travel agents will come away with a real understanding of how we plan to take our award-winning partnership approach and develop it even further for their benefit,” he added.

“It promises to be an insightful, productive and an opportunity for us to get back together after so long - we cannot wait.”
