Jet2holidays suspends Canaries programme until November

In an update to trade partners, the operator said all holidays departing up to and including 31 October will automatically be cancelled with a full refund issued.

Flights are slated to recommence from 1 November, which Jet2 said would be “subject to our new flying programme”.

Also subject to Jet2’s flying schedule is a return to Turkey from 18 October, while the operator halted city break sales to Amsterdam, Barcelona and Lisbon on Monday (5 October).

Jet2CityBreaks from Leeds Bradford to Amsterdam up to 25 November have been cancelled as well as Barcelona holidays from Birmingham and Glasgow. All city breaks to Lisbon have also axed.

The operator said flights to Amsterdam from Leeds Bradford were due to restart on 26 November, but gave no dates for Barcelona or Lisbon’s return to the programme. Meanwhile, all Stansted-Malta options have also been cancelled.
