JetBlue is to step up its transatlantic presence next summer with new services to New York from Edinburgh and Dublin, plus a Dublin-Boston flight.
All three routes will operate daily and all will be early lunchtime departures from Scotland and Ireland, with overnight flights on the inbound journey.
Edinburgh-JFK will commence on 23 May, with the Ireland flights starting on 14 March. They will be summer-only, continuing until 30 September.
Flights to Dublin and Edinburgh will operate daily on JetBlue’s single-aisle Airbus A321neo aircraft, with 16 redesigned Mint Suite lie-flat seats and 144 in economy.
Introductory fares from Ireland and Scotland start at €399 and £399 for core (economy) and €1,499 and £1,499 for Mint business class.
“The success of our transatlantic service proves customers don’t have to choose between great service and low fares and can have them both with our award-winning Mint and core products,” said Robin Hayes, JetBlue chief executive.
“Our summer seasonal service to Dublin and Edinburgh will bring a new level of service and affordable fares to these markets that have been dominated by high-fare legacy carriers for decades.”
