JG extends 'Knit for Ukraine' appeal to agents

The group, parent to National Holidays and Just Go! Holidays, launched the appeal to its customers last week as the crisis in Ukraine continues to deepen, with its Just Go! team in Cheltenham already having received more than 100 hats.

The first batch will be sent to Ukraine in the coming days, while JG will continue to accept donations until the end of June.

Chief executive Andy Freeth said on Monday (9 April) the group would gladly welcome any donations from agents able to spare the time to get knitting.

“We have been absolutely overwhelmed by the kindness of our customers, who have taken the time to knit these tiny hats for those babies so in need right now," said Freeth.

“We are receiving more and more every day, which is incredible and is just one small step in helping the people of the Ukraine. If any agents who would like to get knitting hats, we’d be thrilled to receive them.”
