Newmarket Holidays hires TTC's Freya Sutcliffe to grow north-west presence

The former regional sales manager at The Travel Corporation’s tour brands will report into head of retail sales Richard Forde in her new role.
Sutcliffe brings more than 20 years’ industry experience to her position at the escorted touring specialist.
She has also held sales and business development roles at Jet2, Jet2holidays, defunct brand Super Break and agency Garstang Travel.
Forde called her the “perfect addition” to Newmarket Holidays, adding: “Expanding our award-winning trade team to cover and service more travel agents is a no-brainer.
“Not only is Freya bringing huge levels of experience and great contacts, she’s also bringing fresh energy and enthusiasm to this exciting role.”
Sutcliffe added: “I know my passion for the trade can help bolster their success and smash every target that’s put in front of us.”
Her appointment allows the operator to expand its presence in the north-west by developing existing relationships and recruiting new trade partners to help meet its 2024 targets.
