Nicky Yates is set to return to Attraction World early next year in the newly created role of national retail engagement manager.
Yates, who previously spent seven years with the attraction tickets specialist before joining Scenic in 2018 and later LGBT+ specialist operator Chillimix in 2020, will rejoin Attraction World in January.
“After I left Attraction World, my love and passion never faded, it’s an awesome feeling to know I’m coming back where I belong, the place I call home. It really is a dream come true,” said Yates.
“To sum it up, if I was a stick of rock and you cut me in half, I’d have Attraction World running through the middle.”
Attraction World’s head of retail Kelly Hayre said Yates would bring “a wealth of knowledge, passion and enthusiasm” to the team.
“Our retail partners are at the heart of what we do and with so much change over the last few years, it’s now time to ramp up the engagement, rebuild our foundations and continue to grow the incredible partnerships we have already established," said Hayre.
Justin Mahoney, Attraction World’s chief operating officer, said: “We can’t tell you how delighted we are that Nicky has decided to come home. The passion that she has for Attraction World is unrivalled and she will be phenomenal in this newly created role which is all about retail engagement.
“We listened to the feedback from our amazing agent partners, who wanted us to be more visible, to shout louder about what we do and how we do it. Kelly and I feel that no one shouts louder, or is more visible than Nicky, so we couldn’t be happier to welcome our very own Lioness back into the family.”
