Not Just Travel has launched a recruitment drive for a managing director and chief operating officer as the homeworking agency looks to bring “the UK’s top talent” into its business.
The company is aiming to hire “up to 25” team members during the first quarter of 2023 and has tasked its newly installed head of people Donna Stonehouse with leading the recruitment.
Stonehouse recently joined the homeworking agency after seven years as HR lead for multinational beauty company Coty, during which time she grew employee satisfaction from 64% to 90% and achieved staff turnover of less than 2%.
She will also look to bring onboard a chief business development officer, as well as three heads of department across Not Just Travel’s team.
Stonehouse said she had “turned down several offers” to join Not Just Travel. “Together, we can take an incredible company, expand it with the best talent and nurture the team and culture to become the industry’s brightest star,” she said.
“This is an opportunity to create and design pioneering ways of working. We are going to break boundaries, shake up the travel industry and put people at the forefront of a business to support its continued growth.”
Not Just Travel co-founder Steve Witt said Stonehouse was “the pinnacle” when it came to attracting talent, adding: “the sky’s the limit in regards to what she can accomplish for us”.
“In 2022, we doubled our size, both in terms of sales and head count, and we are looking to further this journey in 2023. Now is the time for c-suite candidates to get in touch. Not only will Donna expand our team from top to bottom with the UK’s top talent, she is going to make us one of the best companies in the UK to work for in terms of culture, wellbeing, reward and career development," said Witt.
