Homeworking agency Not Just Travel has claimed to have recruited more new members in the first five months of the year than during the whole of 2022.
The company said it welcomed six new travel consultants in a single day on Wednesday (31 May) and reported surpassing its sales targets over the past three months by more than 30%.
Mauritius has entered Not Just Travel’s top five best-selling destinations for the first time on the back of the company’s recent Elite Experience team trip held with Beachcomber Tours, while the agency said the number of customers booking during weekends had grown since January.
In May, Not Just Travel’s five most popular destinations were Spain (including Canaries and Balearics), Greece, the US, Turkey and Mauritius, with 61% of bookings being made were for the 2023 summer season.
Co-founder Steve Witt said: “We like to challenge ourselves and so always give ourselves substantial sales targets to reach for, but the last three months we have blasted these out of the water by over 30%.
“The resurgence in travel shows no signs of abating as consumer confidence has been buoyed by recent glorious sunshine and the recent [lowering of the] energy price cap. Consumer mood is good and this translates into significant bookings. Many of our members are taking home £10-30k in income each month.”
