On the Beach chief marketing officer Zoe Harris has joined the OTA’s board.
Harris, who joined On the Beach in January 2021, has been appointed executive director.
The OTA said she had been instrumental in developing the group’s marketing strategy and customer experience.
She led on key initiatives including free Covid tests for customers where required, and the introduction of pre-travel perks such as fast-track security and free airport lounge access.
Prior to joining On the Beach, Harris held roles with GoCompare and Look After My Bills, and is a former group marketing director of Mirror, Express and Daily Star owner Reach plc.
On the Beach chair Richard Pennycook said Harris had made a "big impact" since joining the business in 2021.
"The initiatives she has led have benefited our customers and the wider team," he said. "Zoe’s unrivalled passion for ensuring our customers have the best holiday experience from seeing an advert through to returning from their holiday has made OTB a better business and the board looks forward to further benefiting from Zoe’s expertise.”
Harris added: "I’m incredibly proud of the lengths On the Beach went to for our customers through a very difficult couple of years, and am looking forward to continuing working alongside colleagues and the board to give our customers experiences that will ensure they holiday with us year after year”.
