Tourism Australia has partnered with Qantas to bring its recently launched Come and Say G’day campaign onboard the carrier’s flights for the next stage of its promotional push.
From Wednesday (11 January) a new video featuring Ruby the Roo, a CGI animation souvenir kangaroo and star of Tourism Australia’s new advertising push, flying onboard Australia’s national carrier.
A range of joint activity between Qantas and Tourism Australia will also be launched in the UK across TV, social media and online, designed to inspire travellers to plan and book an Australian trip.
G’day, the short film around which the campaign is based, follows the unlikely adventures of Ruby, voiced by Australian actor Rose Byrne, and a toy unicorn, Louie, voiced by Will Arnett as they travel around Australia.
Tourism Australia will work with Qantas in 10 international markets, including the UK, US, Canada, Italy, Japan, South Korea and New Zealand and the film will be shown as part of Qantas’s inflight entertainment globally.
