Online booking system RateHawk is set to turn the UK into one of its top three markets after reporting a global turnover of £1.7 billion in the first nine months of 2023.
It comes as the company has made investments over the past 11 months, including opening an office in London, as well as doubling the size of its UK team.
RateHawk and its parent company Emerging Travel Group have reported a 65% growth in UK net booking value for the three months ending in September, while more than 20% of sales made through RateHawk’s mobile app.
“Thanks to the outstanding efforts of our local team, the UK is currently one of RateHawk’s top markets in Europe,” said RateHawk director of commercial operations Marta Ladutko. “Our plan for the next year is to make it one of the top 3 markets worldwide”.
According to Ladutko, 3,000 UK agents continue to use the platform.
“We aim to launch more tools that will empower travel agents, including new product releases, content enhancements, innovative support methods, and payment solutions,” she added.
