Regent Seven Seas Cruises’ Seven Seas Splendor’s inaugural festive season will be showcased on Channel 5 on Christmas Eve.
The programme, titled World’s Most Expensive Christmas Cruise, will air on 24 December at 8pm.
The one-hour documentary will feature the day-to-day workings of the vessel, with the crew transforming the ship with 70 boxes of festive decorations at a value of around £70,000.
During the holidays, Seven Seas Splendor will have approximately 200lbs of geese, 600lbs of turkeys, 200lbs of ham, 20 different types of cheese and over 38,000 bottles of wine onboard.
Graham Sadler, managing director of Regent Seven Seas Cruises, said: "We are delighted to return to TV screens during primetime Christmas Eve on nationwide television.
"Our crew have pulled out all the stops, and decked the halls with the most beautiful decorations, to make this a truly magical Christmas voyage for our guests."
