Royal Caribbean is urging agents to "book their way to Eurovision" during peaks, with nearly 40 places at the bash up for grabs thanks to the line’s recently announced partnership with the song contest.
Some 34 places – including return flights, a hosted two-night getaway, dining and VIP hospitality – are up for grabs at one of four Eurovision events in Malmo, Sweden, which will host the contest in May.
To be in with a chance of securing a place, agents should head to Royal’s Club Royal learning and rewards platform, select an avatar and join a live leaderboard. All Royal bookings for 2024 and 2025 will count towards their tally, with those at the top come the end of February earning places.
An additional four wildcard entries for all agents who have made a qualifying booking and participated in the competition will be drawn at random.
Royal is also putting £3,500 behind a series of Eurovision parties for the line’s top-selling agencies in each of its seven sales regions across the UK and Ireland, which will be hosted by each region’s respective sales development manager (SDM).
Each bash will be assigned a £500/€500 budget to secure a venue, with Royal providing champagne and decorations. Royal’s SDMs will be in touch with further details in due course.
Nicki Lewis, Royal Caribbean International senior sales enablement manager, said: “We know our agents are just as excited as us on this new partnership and we couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate than by giving them a chance to be included in this amazing opportunity.
"This competition has been devised to give everyone a chance to take part, and we encourage all our agents to get involved."
