SeaDream re-hires Mark Schmitt as UK and Ireland sales chief
Harry KembleMark Schmitt has re-joined SeaDream Yacht Club as the boutique cruise line’s new UK and Ireland sales director, replacing Natalie Read.
He has been tasked with building and expanding trade relationships and delivering SeaDream Yacht Club’s “distinctive, luxury yachting experience” to agents’ clients.
In addition, Schmitt will also grow new distribution channels, including the line’s charter business.
Schmitt spent almost five years at SeaDream between 2015 and 2020, before later moving to tall-ship line Tradewind Voyages and then AmaWaterways.
Executive vice-president Andreas Brynestad said: “This strategic hire represents an exciting step forward in our commitment to further expand our presence in these key markets.
“With Mark’s in-depth knowledge, experience and passion for SeaDream, I am excited to welcome him home again.
“Combined with his proven track record in sales, and a deep understanding of the cruise industry, this makes him a truly valuable addition to our team.”

Schmitt is replacing previous incumbent Read who has decided to take time off to pursue what she describes as “a lifelong dream”.
