Flash deal specialist Secret Escapes has expanded into four new markets in Asia.
The company, which launched in 2011, has now added Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Indonesia, to its portfolio and is planning further openings later in 2016. It will also continue to grow its operations in North America.
The move comes on the back of $60 million in additional investment secured in July 2015 with the likes of Google Ventures (now known as GV) coming onboard.
Alex Saint, chief executive of Secret Escapes, said: “Asia has, for a while, been the next big frontier for us and we’re excited to be entering into Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Indonesia.
“Last year’s $60 million cash injection is helping us to realise our ambition to become a truly global brand, enabling us to open up opportunities in Asia, continue our expansion throughout Europe and capitalise on our good start in the US."
According to its most recent set of accounts, Secret Escapes Ltd turnover grew by 75.8% to £20.4 million in 2014.
