Thorne Travel to open new Prestwick store in early January

The store have a soft launch on 3 January before a grand opening a day later, the six-time TTG Top 50 agency confirmed on Wednesday (22 November) – promising "lots of giveaways and local celebrity appearances".

Located at 66-68 Main Street, the revamped shop will be managed by cruise director John Ferguson, who recently became a formal shareholder in Thorne Travel Group.

“This is our first major event since our cruise director, John Ferguson, and our retail director, Christiane McCorgray, became formal shareholders in the Thorne Travel Group,” said owner and chief executive Shona Thorne. 

“John and Christiane are incredibly passionate about travel and will provide energetic leadership as the company continues to expand.”
