Carl Breton was among 68 Travel Counsellors who celebrated their best-ever sales months in September, making more than £600,000 in sales and contributing to total group sales of nearly £80 million – a more than 10% year-on-year increase.
Nine of the 68 exceeded £200,000 in sales in September as group sales ran to £79.2 million, a new record September for the homeworking giant, up 10.4% on September 2022. September leisure sales alone were up by 20% across the group.
Breton, a Travel Counsellor of some 14 years, said his and his fellow Travel Counsellors’ achievements "reaffirmed the power of personalised service" and the "unwavering support" Travel Counsellors provide their clients.
"Putting their needs first, understanding their unique travel requirements and going above and beyond has not only resulted in increased bookings but has also maintained lasting relationships," said Breton.
Group sales for Travel Counsellors’ 2023 full-year (year to the end of October) currently stand at £856.5 million, up 20.9% year-on-year after the business chalked up record months ever month this year so far.
Corporate sales, meanwhile, have already topped £200 million this year, up by nearly a third compared with the same point last year.
Jim Eastwood, Travel Counsellors’ global sales director, hailed the "remarkable individual and collective sales figures" and "dedication" of Travel Counsellors’ 1,900 agents.
