Tui has placed its largest winter programme on sale for 2020-21 – with an extra 400,000 seats on offer.
Long-haul capacity has been extended by 260,000 seats across winter next year and summer 2021 combined, while Tui has also added more than 1,000 hotels for summer 2021.
Next winter, Tui will offer an extra 180,000 seats on its long-haul services with more flights from Manchester, Gatwick and Doncaster Sheffield to winter-sun destinations such as Goa, Dominican Republic, Mexico and Barbados.
Tui’s short- and mid-haul flying will also grow by an additional 400,000 seats with the majority of the growth focused in the Canary Islands and Egypt.
For summer 2021, long-haul capacity will be boosted with 80,000 additional seats and extra flying days from Manchester, Gatwick, Glasgow and Newcastle to Florida, Barbados and Mexico.
Greece, Turkey, the Canaries and Balearics will all see “significant growth” in summer 2021, with Tui promising “hundreds of hotels” to choose from including former Thomas Cook properties.
More mid-haul seats will be available to the “increasingly in demand” African islands of Cape Verde for winter 2020, while highlights also include Tui’s previously announced return to Sharm el Sheikh with four hotels on sale and “even more in the pipeline”.
From next May, Tui Blue will become the group’s global flagship hotel brand, with Tui Family Life and Tui Sensimar hotels rebranded and moved into an expanded Tui Blue range.
The brand will comprise Tui Blue for Families, Tui Blue for two and Tui Blue for all.
Holidaymakers will have 97 Tui Blue hotels to choose across 18 countries for summer 2020.
