Solmar Villa Holidays has expanded into the long-haul market, offering more than 200 villa options and packages in Florida.
Most of the 214 properties are situated in Orlando, with 62 on the Gulf Coast in resorts such as Anna Maria Island and Charlotte Harbour.
The villas, which range from three-bedroom family homes to 10-bedroom mansions, are mainly in residential complexes, providing guests access to a variety of communal spaces, including swimming pools, water parks and restaurants.
“No other villa specialist operator is a one-stop shop offering flights, transfers, airport parking, car hire, attraction tickets and villas to Florida,” said Solmar chief executive Julie Blake.
“Our customers want packages, they want ease of booking and they want to book everything in one place, so we’re delighted to be able to offer all that and to such a great destination.”
Blake said Solmar would expanded its offering to more than 300 properties next year. "The move into long-haul destinations is part of a wider investment that will help the business strengthen and grow,” she added.
Solmar has grown rapidly over the past few years, putting 1,200 villas on sale for the 2024 season, while looking to increase that number by 300 over the next two years.
