Visit Victoria to host virtual agent training session
Will PayneVisit Victoria will take travel agents on two virtual road trips next week as part of an interactive training session.
The tourist board will host the event on Wednesday (9 March) between 8am and 9am.
The session will take agents along two drives in Victoria: the Great Southern Touring Route and Go Beyond Melbourne.
The former is a 523-mile trip along the coastline of the Great Ocean Road while the latter is an off-the-beaten track journey that can be found in the south-eastern surrounds of Melbourne.
Agents can decide how they travel and the places they visit on the virtual road trips by using their smartphones and QR codes. The session will finish with a Q&A.
Visit Victoria said next week’s second and final interactive training webinar is an "excellent way for travel agents to refresh their knowledge of Victoria" now Australian borders have reopened.
