Fiji’s 333 beautiful islands, consisting of crystal-clear waters, soft coral reefs, extraordinary marine life and strong swells have secured the destination as world leading for diving, surfing and snorkelling, and now Fiji is diversifying its tourism offerings beyond its iconic beaches to its beautiful mountain ranges, jungles and rivers, with a wealth of off-road experiences immersed in nature and culture.

New Adventure Highlights for 2024/ 2025 include iBike Fiji, Fiji’s first e-Bike Tour where guests can pedal through paradise with a guide, through rocky terrain, exploring local quaint villages and lush mountain ranges. Rosie Holidays has also introduced two 4WD safari buses, a first for the country. These air-conditioned vehicles will take adventurers to off-grid villages, stunning vistas and historical sites. Tours include the Ancient Trails Safari, which traces the 300-year-old path of Fiji’s first settlers.

For independent thrill-seekers, Go Dirty Tours Fiji is offering Harley Davidson motorbike rentals alongside off-road quad and ATV tours. Set in the stunning Momi Bay, Mai Island Ride has launched a new 3-day off-road motorbike adventure will allow riders to explore everything from mountain trails to WWII historical sites. In early 2025, South Seas Cruises will launch its new brand of vessels, South Sea Cats, offering half-day snorkelling adventures, resort transfers, and cruises across Fiji’s azure waters.

Fiji’s push for adventure tourism goes hand-in-hand with community involvement. The Tourism Fiji Industry Mentorship Programme and AdventureEDU initiatives ensure that local entrepreneurs are equipped with the skills and resources to offer authentic, sustainable experiences.

The focus on community tourism provides visitors with deeper connections to Fiji’s landscapes and people, while supporting local economies. Fiji will also play host to the AdventureNEXT this November, which will further showcase the destination’s wide variety of adventure experiences to a global audience.
