Mashatu in Botswana has new family-friendly safari offers for October half-term and Christmas holidays plus family hour in the photo hide.
Mashatu Game Reserve in Botswana’s Northern Tuli has introduced exciting family-friendly offers for the upcoming October half-term and Christmas holidays. Families can take advantage of special deals, including free stays for up to two children under 16 sharing a room with their parents at Mashatu Lodge and Tuli Safari Lodge. For families preferring separate accommodations, children over 12 can stay in their own room at half the usual children’s rate.
Mashatu Tent Camp offers a more adventurous experience for children 12 and older, whilst Euphorbia caters for families with older teens from 16 up.
Additionally, families can enjoy a luxurious stay in Mashatu’s exclusive-use safari homes, which accommodate up to eight guests on a pay 2 stay 3 deal at Kolokolo or Shalimpo Safari Homes.
These promotions are available for agents to book for clients travelling from October 16 to 31, 2024, as well as throughout December 2024 and January 2025.
Mashatu has also recently introduced a new "Family Happy Hour at Matebole Photo Hide," allowing families with younger children to experience close-up wildlife sightings (especially ellies) at eye level. Families can now book an hour-long session either after their morning game drive or before the afternoon drive, at a reduced rate of $35 per person. Rates are usually $90 per person for the morning or afternoon session which is around 3 - 4 hours, so this makes the experience a lot more affordable and family-friendly for little ones with shorter attention spans. Subject to availability and terms and restrictions apply.
