A venerable Suffolk agency brand of more than 30 years has relocated to new premises and reopened as Fred Olsen Travel’s latest concept store, its fourth.
TravelQuest, a feature of Woodbridge’s high street for the past 32 years, was acquired by the south coast miniple in 2012 but has only now taken on its name and branding.
The store, which has moved to a more central location in the town in Thoroughfare, will continue to be managed by Claire Aitchison and staffed by her familiar team.
It will showcase two cruise brands – Fred Olsen Cruise Lines and Silversea Cruises – and was officially opened by Fred Olsen Cruise Lines chief executive Samantha Stimpson.
The branch has been designed with in-store branding, brochure racking, marketing and dedicated promotions from the two lines, and will also feature a Luxury Cruise Club lounge for clients.
It becomes Fred Olsen Travel’s 21st branch, and its 10th in East Anglia. The agency also has eight in Dorset and Hampshire, and another three in Sussex.
Fred Olsen Travel is targeting expansion to 25 branches by the end of 2025. Its latest acquisition was that of Solent World Travel in Lee-on-Solent in June.
Director of retail Paul Hardwick said the store and the team stood ready to serve its existing clients as usual, and support them with personalised, knowledgeable service.
