Anzcro sales director Shubhra Halliday has driven from Hertfordshire to Yorkshire and “everywhere in between” in a motorhome delivering the Australasia specialist’s 30th anniversary New Zealand brochure.
The brochure, launched 30 years ago as a 15-page booklet, has now evolved into a 140-page A4 brochure, split into regions, with a pull-out map at the back.
Halliday showed off the brochure, which highlights around 400 of Anzcro’s “most popular products and suppliers” and the motorhome she travelled in, as part of the tour operator’s 30th anniversary celebrations.
“I travelled from Hertfordshire to Yorkshire and everywhere in between,” said Halliday, who drove a Maui Ultima Plus around the country. Prices for a two-berth vehicle start from £78 per day. “Agents have been truly impressed at just how spacious and liveable motorhomes can be.”
This year’s edition of the brochure features self-guided rail tours, including four of Anzcro’s most popular rail packages. Halliday said: “Rail holidays in New Zealand have been booming for the past two years, particularly self-guided tours.”
Anzcro general manager Andrew Guthrey added: “The New Zealand Book – or "bible" as it is often referred to in the trade – really is the best planning tool for clients interested in a trip across the Tasman.”
