Apex inspires Celebrity Cruises’ ‘biggest-ever’ booking day

The announcement that the new Edge-class vessel will homeport in Southampton in May 2024 led to the record results and signalled the line’s most successful product launch into the UK market.

According to the line, agents were "quick to respond" to the new ship, after plans to homeport the vessel in the UK were announced two weeks ahead of opening for the first time.

One agent claimed a six-figure booking yield in less than 24 hours after Apex bookings opened.

 
The line has also seen a rise in agents using Celebrity Central, the brand’s agent portal, with a 43% increase in visitors to the hub since the news of Apex homeporting in Southampton for the 2024-2025 season.
