Azamara has revealed a new agent engagement programme, enhanced trade services and appointments to its UK team.
Moira Gregson has joined the line as business development manager, while Natalie Holder comes onboard as international marketing manager.
Gregson will work closely with the UK head of trade sales Stuart Pearce to “develop and grow Azamara’s presence and performance” in the UK.
She brings more than 25 years of travel industry experience with previous roles at Carnival UK and Ambassador Cruise Line.
Holder, who joins from Not Just Travel and has previous worked at The Travel Network Group and Hurtigruten will support Azamara’s global marketing team in Miami, as well as its teams in the UK, EMEA and Australia.
It comes as the brand unveiled its Azamara Alliance initiative featuring new tools and technologies to “create a seamless experience” for partners.
The enhancements include new Versonix Seaware Touch booking platform and a “more intuitive” Azamara Connect trade portal, giving agents on-demand access to imagery, promotions, marketing templates.
The line has also pledged to double its number of contact centre staff and use new systems to more quickly respond to agent queries.
Azamara’s new trade tools and live training sessions will be launched from January.
Patrice Willoughby, the line’s chief sales officer, said: “A priority in this new chapter at Azamara is to provide our valued travel partners with the best support and the most efficient experience possible.
“With the launch of our Azamara Alliance programme, it is our mission to support our travel partners and equip them with the tools, so we succeed together.”
