Three Not Just Travel franchisees – including two husband and wife duos – have made the jump onto the high street in the past month, the homeworking outfit has revealed.
James and Natasha Oliphant have opened up at Longacres Garden Centre in the Surrey village of Bagshot, while Rachael and Colman Coyne have set up a retail unit on Lindley High Street in Huddersfield.
Rachael Coyne said: “Consumer confidence continues to be high so we have decided to respond to customer demand by opening a new shop.
"We previously welcomed clients into our garden office to plan their next adventure, but our customer base has expanded enough to need additional staff and a high street presence. Investing in our local area feels natural.”
Meanwhile, Kelly Baldwin, whom NJT said had rapidly scaled her Aspire Travel business since 2022, has opened on Cottenham High Street in Cambridgeshire. The new space allows her six-person team to meet in person, blending the flexibility of homeworking with an office base.
NJT co-founder Steve Witt said he and Paul Harrison, the agency’s other co-founder, are proud of the work their team had done to support their homeworkers "growth into high street retail”.
“Our consultants have adapted to their customers’ needs and we have adapted to the needs of our consultants," said Witt. “These are entrepreneurs who have built incredible businesses based on our company values and relationships and have achieved so much. We can’t wait to see what they achieve next."
