Clarity Business Travel acquires TTG Top 50 shortlisted agency Agiito

Clarity – the business travel and events division of the Portman Travel Group – said on Thursday (10 August) the newly-combined business would be jointly led the two companies’ executive teams, spearheaded by Clarity chief executive Pat McDonagh.

As part of the deal, Clarity has also acquired B2B rail ticketing Platform Evolvi.

“Over the coming months, we will unite under the Clarity name, leveraging the combined strength of our technology and supplier partnerships," said McDonagh. "It’s extremely exciting and there are huge opportunities for growth for the wider teams of Clarity and Agiito moving forward."

The new company will also benefit from “a unique, cutting-edge” technology to help with online bookings, meetings, events and rail.

McDonagh’s comments were echoed by Agiito chief executive Donna Fitzgerald, who said the two businesses were "a great, complementary fit" and that their combined strength would be "hugely advantageous" to customers.
