Entries have been coming in for the TTG Travel Heroes scheme, which will see agents taken under the wing of five leading suppliers who will share their expertise spanning touring and adventure; ocean and river cruising; and both short- and long-haul travel.
The major new TTG project is aimed at driving up profits and standards across the UK and Ireland, with our team of Travel Heroes committed to working closely with the agencies over the next 12 months.
Launched at the TTG Travel Awards last month, the programme will see each Travel Hero help grow sales in the successful agencies by sharing their expertise in analysis, marketing and sales.
The heroes’ stories, including tips and advice, will be told in TTG via video and social media, and on ttgtravelheroes.com.
The team includes Craig Davidson of Jet2holidays representing short-haul packages; Nick Hughes of Gold Medal and Travel 2 (long-haul travel); MSC Cruises’ Steve Williams (ocean cruising); Jamie Loizou of AmaWaterways (river cruising); and Sarah Weetman of Travelsphere and Just You (touring and adventure).
Agencies should submit their applications by 8 November.
