Cunard will give agents more opportunities to get onboard its ships later this year.
The line will offer an additional 120 ship visit places this autumn onboard Queen Mary II, Queen Victoria and the newly launched Queen Anne, the first new Cunard ship for 14 years.
The one-day ship visits will take place in Southampton onboard Queen Anne and Queen Victoria on 15 October 21 October. Further visits will take place onboard Queen Mary II and Queen Victoria on 13 November and 5 December.
Visits will consist of a guided tour of the ship’s suites, staterooms and venues, as well as a three-course lunch with wine in the Britannia restaurant and free time to explore the vessels.
Registration for the new round of visits is open now; agents can register their place via Cunard’s Shine Rewards Club platform.
"We know the best way to support our agents in selling Cunard is by offering them the opportunity to experience our magnificent Queens first-hand, to elevate their knowledge when discussing Cunard with their clients,” said David Jones, Cunard vice-president of UK and EMEA sales.
Jones, who was this week named as Cunard’s new sales lead in the UK following the departure of Angus Struthers, added: "Travel agents are central to our success, which is why we are hosting more of our valued agent partners on board this year than ever before.
“This year’s initial round of ship visits received exceptional feedback from the trade, and we can’t wait to welcome more agents on board, to give them a taste of the Cunard sailing experience."
Last month, 185 agents were given the opportunity to explore Queen Anne, while other ship visits are due to take place between the end of July and early September.
An exclusive ship visit for 60 Hays Travel agents will take place on 22 September.
