Olympic Holidays has promoted its operations director Reeva Kingston to the role of acting managing director following Michael Vinales’ departure last month.
Kingston, who has spent her entire travel industry career with the family-run Greece and Cyprus specialist, has held several positions with the business, including product inventory manager, operations manager and, most recently, operations director.
Olympic Holidays described her “a respected member” of the team in a statement confirming her promotion.
George Michalias, executive chair of Olympic Holidays, said: “Kingston’s wealth of experience, proven abilities, and dedication to the company make her the ideal person to lead Olympic Holidays."
Kingston said: “I’m honoured to step into the role of managing director at Olympic Holidays. It’s a great opportunity to work at a higher level with the hugely talented team we have built over the years and take on the challenges and opportunities of 2025 and beyond.”
She added: “I’m looking forward to continuing the company’s strong track record and delivering great experiences for our clients."
Under Kingston’s leadership, the operator said it looked forward to “continuing to exceed customer expectations and achieve strategic growth for the business”.
Vinales vacated the managing director role in December after seven years at Olympic Holidays, including four as managing director. He later told TTG he would “definitely consider” consultancy work for another tour operator or in aviation.
