CV Villas general manager Pete Brudenell has been appointed as managing director, starting from Thursday (1 June).
Brudenell, who joined the villa specialist in 2018 as head of marketing, was promoted to general manager last year after successfully spearheading the company’s rebranding and digital transformation.
He has previously held positions at British Airways Holidays, Kenwood Travel and James Villa Holidays.
Francis Torrilla, managing director for specialist businesses at parent company Der Touristik, said on Tuesday (30 May) that Brudenell “has consistently shown that he has the skills and dedication to take CV Villas to the next level.”
CV Villas has grown exponentially over the past few years, reporting a record-breaking summer last year. Bookings over July and August 2022 went up to 173% compared to pre-Covid levels, prompting the villa specialist to expand its portfolio with 40 new properties.
"I’m hugely proud and excited to be able to lead this great brand,” the newly-appointed managing director said. “I look forward to working closely with the fantastic team here in building on our recent success and continuing to drive the business forward."
