Cyprus has further eased its entry rules for Brits fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
Last month, Cyprus introduced new testing rules for all arrivals – vaccinated and unvaccinated – stipulating they provide evidence of a negative PCR test for Covid-19 taken up to 72 hours prior to departure or a negative antigen test taken up to 48 hours prior to departure, as well as a PCR test on arrival.
However, the Foreign Office on Tuesday (22 February) confirmed fully vaccinated arrivals will no longer have to test negative pre-departure.
And from 1 March, the country will also scrap the PCR test on arrival requirement for fully vaccinated arrivals.
Unvaccinated or non-fully vaccinated arrivals, though, will continue to be required to test negative pre-departure – 72 hours before travel with a PCR test or 24 hours before travel with an antigen test – and to take a PCR test on arrival.
On children, the FCDO added: "Children aged 11 and under are exempted from the testing requirement. Children aged 12 and over who have not completed a full vaccination programme need to follow the guidance for unvaccinated adults."
