EasyJet has expanded its winter schedule with a new Lapland route.
The budget carrier will launch flights to the Lappish village of Kittila from Manchester this winter. Flights will operate on Thursdays and Sundays starting 16 November for the remainder of the winter season.
“This new connection means we are able to build on our offering from Manchester for those in search of winter breaks by providing customers more choice to enjoy an even greater range of destinations this winter at fantastic low fares,” said easyJet’s UK country manager Ali Gayward.
Manchester’s aviation director Robert Smith said the new route “demonstrated easyJet’s commitment to providing outstanding choice year-round to passengers flying from Manchester".
Kittila is the latest destination to be added to easyJet’s winter schedule after it last week confirmed the addition of another eight new routes, including Hurghada on Egypt’s Red Sea coast.
