EVA Air is to increase frequencies on its Heathrow-Bangkok-Taipei service due to increased demand.
The Taiwanese carrier will move from three flights per week to five from August. They will depart London on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays during August and September, with additional frequencies “depending on performance”.
The airline retains its departure time of 21.35 from Heathrow’s Terminal 2.
The relaunch of London-Bangkok flights at the end of April coincided with Thailand’s lifting of arrival testing. Encouraging sales have prompted EVA Air to add the extra departure dates.
Sarah Wu, EVA Air’s London office general manager, said: “We are really pleased that we have been able to add on more flights so soon after the announcement of the London-Bangkok-Taipei relaunch.
“The addition of these extra days gives our customers more flexibility. If demand remains high, we are well on the way to returning to our daily service later in the year.”
