Former Saga Holidays RSM Liz Ryan joins Sandals as BDM
Harry KembleFormer Saga Holidays regional sales manager Liz Ryan has joined Sandals and Beaches Resorts as its new business development manager.
Liverpool-based Ryan took up her position at Unique Vacations UK Ltd on 4 September after moving from Cruising Excursions and Venture Ashore.
In her new role, she will look after travel agents based in Cheshire, the Isle of Man, Lancashire, Merseyside, north Wales, Staffordshire and Derbyshire.
During her 15-year industry career, Ryan has worked for Sykes Cottages, Saga Holidays and Wendy Wu Tours. Sandals said Ryan had “extensive experience in driving profitability and sales”.
Ryan said: “I am extremely excited to be joining Unique Vacations, a well-known, leading company within the travel industry. I am joining a very talented and hardworking team of experts and I look forward to working with them to connect with and support our travel agent partners going forward.”
Her appointment comes after Sandals added several new products to its portfolio, including Sandals Dunn’s River resort in Ocho Rios in Jamaica, new rooms and suites at Sandals Halcyon Beach Resort in St Lucia, and Beaches Negril Beach Resort & Spa in Jamaica.
