Gillespie given expanded role in Travel Network Group restructure
Tom ParryThe Travel Network Group has restructured its senior management team, with an expanded remit for Independent Travel Experts managing director Gary Gillespie.
Gillespie, who joined the consortium in November 2019 to lead its homeworking division, will now also manage TTNG’s in-house Atol solutions, including Cruise Club and Dynamic Services, in the additional role of product and distribution director.
Gary Lewis, TTNG chief executive, said: “Gary will use his experience in technology and tour operating to implement the automation of these services.”
As part of the internal restructure, Kai-Yin Knapp, previously sales manager within Independent Travel Experts has been promoted to sales director for the division, while Julie Pinkney continues her role as TTNG’s retail director.
